Need-Based Scholarships

BCAC’s mission statement is to join local families in music classes open to all children grades 1 – 8 regardless of economic standing. Need-based Scholarships are available upon request. Click Here to access a need-based scholarship application form.  It is expected that families contribute at least 25% of their student’s tuition. When applying for your scholarship please bear in mind that our funds for assistance are limited and we want to make this program available to as many students as possible. Be sure to include your email and phone number on the application so that we may contact you once it is approved.

Payment Procedure

ALL FEES, including tuition, rental fees, late fees, etc., will be received by the BCAC registrar, located in the front church office. If the registrar is not available, you may leave your payment in the drop box located in the hall on the wall outside of the church office. If a student is dropping off the payment, please ask them to do this PRIOR to class. NO payments should be given to instructors, as they will be utilizing their entire time for instruction.

Tuition Payments

  • Tuition may be paid by the session or monthly by cash, check, credit/debit, or Paypal on our website.
  • Monthly tuition is due on the 1st Saturday of each month and late after the 2nd Saturday of each month; a $25.00 late fee will be charged for payments made after the 2nd Saturday of the month. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND CLASS IF TUITION PAYMENTS ARE NOT MADE.
  • All payments must be submitted with a payment voucher that will include your student’s name, the class in which your student is enrolled, form of payment (cash, check, credit/debit, or Paypal). Two payment vouchers are included in this handbook. Additional vouchers can be found in the holder located next to the drop box located in the hall on the wall outside of the church office.
  • If you will be leaving any payment in the drop box, please put the payment and pay voucher in BCAC envelope with the student’s name on it.
  • Please make all checks payable to Advent Lutheran Church and write BCAC on the memo line.  There will be a $35.00 fee for any returned checks.
  • If you choose to pay with a credit/debit card, there will be a $3.00 convenience fee per transaction.
  • If paying with cash, please bring exact amount as the BCAC office is not able to make change. If you do not have exact change, the remaining balance will NOT be credited toward your next monthly payment.
  • The BCAC reserves the right to dismiss any student because of frequent absences, behavior, or missed payments. Please notify the BCAC office if discontinuing a class. BCAC will not issue any credit for the current month in which the class is discontinued. If payment has been made for the entire session, a refund will be given for any month in which instruction has not been given.
  • There are no makeup classes and no refunds if a student misses a group class.
