She handles all the employee paperwork, monitors registration and registration payments, makes deposits and pays the bills. Carrie is lovingly referred to as our 'Camp Mom' and takes care of the campers when they need bandaging or don't feel well. She also communicates well with parents. Her fine work enables everyone else on staff to do their jobs.
Carrie lives in Gilroy, where she has served as a church administrator. She sings in the Advent Chancel Choir. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and quilting. She and her husband, Ed, have three grown children and two granddaughters.
Emma Northcott, Musical Director
Emma Northcott has been involved in CMT since she was three years old, starting at CMT in Palo Alto in 1996 and in Morgan Hill in 1999. After being in the program as a camper, she worked as a counselor and then as Lead Counselor. Emma served as CMT's musical director for the first time in 2012. In addition to singing in several choirs throughout her life, Emma has acted in over sixty musicals at both CMT and Ann Sobrato High School. She is grateful to have gained choral knowledge beginning at a very early age and to have been under the musical direction of Phillip Robb, Jennifer Hamilton, and Dr. Brian Gorelick.
Having spent nearly every summer of her life doing CMT, Emma knows all the songs very well and enjoys bringing some of the fun and goofiness from her counselor days to the music classroom. She also assists her father, Marc Northcott, whenever possible in various tasks that don't fall within anyone else's job description.
Emma is currently studying at Wake Forest University in North Carolina and plans to graduate in 2015 with a B.A. in Politics & International Affairs with minors in Theatre, Spanish, and Latin American Studies.
