Music plays an important and vital role here at Advent Lutheran. We believe in using the creative gifts given to us to worship and love God. For those of you who have hidden talents in music, it is time to share your gift and join our one of our music programs now! Do you sing? Play an instrument? All ages and levels welcome. The ability to read music is not necessary. Just give us a call and let us know you are coming. For more information, please contact Kyle Jones, Director of Music at 408-779-3551 X103 or email@example.com.

Have you ever thought about singing your praises to God? Come join Advent Lutheran’s Chancel Choir. The Chancel Choir gives choir members the opportunity for personal growth and development of their vocal and musical skills. The Chancel Choir also provides leadership in worship and communicates to the worshiper by creating music that enhances the worship experience, and witnesses to the love, power and grace of God.
The Chancel Choir at Advent Lutheran Church is open to all high school age singers, and up. We rehearse and sing great works of sacred choir literature of all styles and periods. Rehearsals are every Thursday evening from 7:30 PM to 9:15 PM in the choir room. No audition is necessary.
The Celebration ensemble is the Sunday worship instrumentalists that help lead our worship services. These musicians are a wonderful mix of beginning and professional instrumentalists and consist of young people and mature adults. In addition, ANY instrument is invited and important to this group of musicians!
The Celebration ensemble meets every Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. to rehearse the music for the following Sunday worship service.
The Drama group consists of college age and older adults who share an interest in sharing the Word of God through drama. Interested adults have the opportunity to act in skits, readings and reader’s theatre presentations during worship services at Advent. Acting workshops and rehearsals are held at various times throughout the year.
