Chancel Choir

Have you ever thought about singing your praises to God? Come join Advent Lutheran’s Chancel Choir.  The Chancel Choir gives choir members the opportunity for personal growth and development of their vocal and musical skills. The Chancel Choir also provides leadership in worship and communicates to the worshiper by creating music that enhances the worship experience, and witnesses to the love, power and grace of God.

The Chancel Choir at Advent Lutheran Church is open to singers ages 13 to 103!  We sing great works of sacred choir literature of all styles and periods. Rehearsals are every Thursday evening from 7:30 PM to 9:15 PM in Room 1. No audition is necessary.

Celebration Ensemble

The Celebration ensemble is an intergenerational mix of beginning and professional instrumentalists that help lead our worship services.  ANY instrument is invited and important to this group of musicians!  The Celebration Ensemble meets every Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. to rehearse the music for  Sunday’s worship service.

The Festival Choir

The Festival Choir at Advent presents larger music works and is open to all community singers.  This choir is ideal for those who are looking for a more limited commitment geared toward specific services and events.  Prior choral or musical experience is not required.  Concert opportunities are generally available in mid-fall, December, and Holy Week.
